Most of the people especially in the offices stack up sticky notes on their desks containing scribbled letters and checks - a list. These checklists containing words for tasks and deadlines may appear tacky and unorganized but their purpose is completely the opposite of what they represent. Here are the advantages of listing down your goals:

1.       Listing down will help you remember what you should and will do within the day or week. This is the main reason of having to list down your goals, most office employees often are faced with stress or pressure of their workloads so they end up forgetting their tasks, the list does help them recall and be mindful of their other tasks. The list is like secretaries from managers and higher positions for them to arrange their schedules and be a reminder for their tasks.

2.       Having a checklist significantly lets you have an overview of your progress and will help you keep motivated. Who doesn’t want their goals and tasks being fulfilled one by one? We all are. Seeing the tasks, you have done being completed lets you know what should be done next, and it will keep us inspired to take on the next task and complete the whole list.

It is common that there are circumstances wherein the deadlines of the tasks suddenly changed and you need to adjust your time and focus on your task then the checklist will help a lot.
